Job description

Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Lee's Summit, MO (with travel to Harrisonburg, VA as needed)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager implements and monitors quality controls across all contract sites to drive continuous improvement, prevent nonconformances, and ensure full compliance with USCIS standards and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This role plays a critical part in maintaining high levels of accuracy, reliability, and customer satisfaction in the management of immigration records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits, process reviews, and corrective/preventive action planning across multi-site operations.
  • Develop and deliver training on quality standards, security protocols (PII/SPII), and procedural adherence.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering reports on metrics related to reliability, accuracy, timeliness, and overall performance.
  • Support the seamless implementation of policy changes and technological adaptations while minimizing operational impact.
  • Promote a culture of quality and ensure high customer satisfaction through metrics-driven performance and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality management for federal service contracts (ISO 9001:2015 experience strongly preferred).
  • Certification in quality auditing (e.g., CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in process improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with federal records policies and PWS-driven quality frameworks (USCIS or similar DHS experience is a plus).
