Job Title: PYTHON DEVELOPER
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 12+ Months
Visa: USC, GC, H1B and EAD
Contract Type: W2
Job Description
Skillset: Python, Java, AWS, Jenkins, and Docker
  • Nice to have - experience in the Payment space
  • Greenfield app or existing app? Probably supporting both
  • #1 is python - most components are python based, some java - both is nice
  • AWS environment experience is important
  • Components: lamda, serverless, fargate, RDS as a database, postrgres, S3, SNS, SQS
  • Python developer with java experience
  • 80% python, 20% java
  • New stuff is python, existing is java
  • Restful APIs is nice - there are some APIs
  • Not using pyspark - fine to have but not required
  • Rewrite existing API in Java or write new from scratch? Both, wants a good mix
  • Data engineering experience would be helpful
  • Focused on more backend development
  • Production support? Standard - not asking them to work on every production issue but will be involved, need fungible member of team - can't be hesitant to work on production issues, wants someone open minded who can help wherever
