As a Sr. Software Developer, you will:
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in SCADA systems, AVEVA/Wonderware platforms, and OSI PI data historians. This role focuses on designing, integrating, and optimizing industrial data systems across multiple environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems and integrate with multiple industrial data sources
  • Work extensively with AVEVA (Wonderware) products, including System Platform, Operations Control, InTouch, and Predictive Analytics
  • Configure and support operational data historians such as OSI PI, AVEVA/Wonderware Historian
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts using JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or C# to enhance system performance
  • Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including Modbus, OPC UA/DA, DNP3, and TCP/IP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement industrial automation solutions and improve system efficiency
  • Analyze system performance and resolve technical issues with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience with AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform and OSI PI Historian
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA architecture, integration, and industrial data systems
  • Experience with industrial networking concepts, including architectures, topologies, and hardware
  • Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Visual Basic, C#, or Python
  • Familiarity with real-time data systems and industrial automation environments

Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in industrial communication protocols and data integration
  • Experience in predictive analytics and process optimization tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex technical environments

Work Environment & Travel:
  • Primarily remote work environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, site deployments, and system implementations

Pay Range: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
