Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Engineer - Automation for a contract to hire opportunity with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA.
This role involves automating areas of retail technology using Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong background in both automation and AI to test backend development and APIs. This position requires critical thinking, using AI as a tool rather than a dependency, within the complex environment of a large financial institution.
Responsibilities:
  • Automate areas of retail technology using AI
  • Test backend development, with a focus on APIs
  • Utilize testing tools such as Karate, IQP, and IntelliJ
  • Apply critical thinking to control and leverage AI as a tool
  • Utilize Copilot for development and testing tasks

Requirements:
  • Strong automation background
  • Strong AI background
  • Must have a banking or financial background to understand the innerworkings of a large financial institution
  • Ability to understand code (Python and Java) in order to test it effectively
  • Ability to think critically and not just rely on AI

Desired skills:
  • Retail banking experience
  • Mainframe experience

Pay range: $43.46 - $51.46 per hour
