Job Description:
MHS travelers will work with limited scope: Travel MHSs can enter data. They cannot do assessments and would not do shift chart notes. They also will not carry a patient load. Because of this lack of patient load, they will have more assignments on the floor like rounds, line of sight/constant observer patient observation, kitchen duties, etc.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in rounds and floor assignments
  • Perform line of sight/constant observer patient observation
  • Conduct kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year inpatient mental health or medical hospitalization experience
  • Required certifications: CNA or NAR, WA state license, BLS, First Aid, De-escalation certificate (CPI or MOAB)
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit prior to start date
  • Behavioral Health experience; general patient care; charting
