PRIDE Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health for a local contract nursing job in Springdale, Arkansas.

Position Overview:

The Home Health Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care to adult patients, primarily an elderly population, in their homes. This role focuses on completing comprehensive assessments, delivering advanced clinical care, and managing chronic and acute disease processes while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes in the home health setting.

Schedule & Work Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Work Days per Week: 5
  • Pay Rate: $51–$53 per hour
  • Work Location: Springdale, AR 72762
  • Travel Requirement: Daily travel from patient home to patient home within the service area
  • Work Environment: Patient homes
  • Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive OASIS start of care, resumption of care, recertification, and discharge assessments
  • Provide advanced wound care, including complex wound management and treatment planning
  • Manage IV therapy, PICC lines, and central lines according to physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Provide ostomy care, catheter changes, and additional skilled nursing interventions
  • Deliver basic medical-surgical nursing care to patients age 18 and older, with a primary focus on elderly patients managing chronic and acute conditions
  • Accurately document all patient care, assessments, and interventions in compliance with home health standards
  • Communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordination and continuity of care

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Arkansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently in a home health environment
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior home health nursing experience
  • OASIS documentation experience
