Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team of technical and business professionals within our Community Development Group in the St. Cloud, MN location. The candidate will work directly with city staff to successfully manage and implement multi-discipline projects. This position will coordinate, and lead project teams focused on engineering and construction related services for clients primarily located in Minnesota.
Your Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage complex civil engineering designs
  • Serve as a technical design expert for projects and supervise and manage work through junior staff to develop and execute design
  • Plan and manage projects and tasks to complete them on time and within budget
  • Supervision of Engineers, Technologists, and Designers
  • Ongoing coordination between developer personnel and city and field staff throughout construction of the public improvements.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Minnesota
  • Experience with public and/or private sector clients and projects
  • Experience in design functions, such as site planning, roads, drainage, grading, water systems, sanitary sewer systems and other municipal and private sector infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred
  • Experience in engineering design, construction inspection, contract administration, project management and business development.
  • Has the skill and knowledge to create, suggest, and introduce innovative and effective client solutions and integrated deliverables that are aligned with the Sector business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to work in a team atmosphere and lead/assist M&BD activities as a team for positioning and pursuits of new opportunities
  • Known to be proactive in his/her ability to be a market leader
  • Known for sustaining long-term client relationships
  • Ability to travel to nearby clients as required
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the design of civil infrastructure.

Pay Range:
• Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas-$90,900.00 - $131,800.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
