Their main duties include budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring that projects stay within scope and budget. They collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to monitor progress, forecast financial performance, and implement financial controls. Contract Project Controllers are often hired for specific projects or periods, bringing specialized expertise to help organizations achieve their project objectives efficiently.

Can project controls be done remotely?

Contract Project Controllers can often perform their duties remotely, especially with the use of project management software, collaboration tools, and cloud-based data sharing.
