Salary range: 70K-85K annually
At The Brentwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we believe that recovery-oriented, compassionate, and evidence-based care is essential to supporting individuals on their journey toward stability and wellness. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Director provides clinical leadership, oversight, and program development to ensure high-quality, compliant, and person-centered addiction services.
Responsibilities for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Director:
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical aspects of contractual obligations, including utilization, documentation, and service delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with management and evaluators to develop, implement, and maintain program policies and procedures.
  • Participate in monthly in-service training and support ongoing staff education.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff during crisis intervention situations.
  • Promote and ensure the delivery of culturally competent, person-centered services.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting laws, incident reporting requirements, and ethical standards of practice.
  • Monitor program operations to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and clinical standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support program success and quality improvement.

Qualifications for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Director:
  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred) in mental health, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Current professional license required (LMHC, LCSW/LICSW, LADC) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Previous experience working in addiction or substance use disorder treatment is required.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to serve diverse populations effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing substance abuse and mental health services.
