We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Title Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough title examinations and prepare title opinions for oil and gas transactions.
  • Provide legal advice regarding land ownership, leasehold interests, and title issues.
  • Review and negotiate oil and gas leases, rights of way, and other agreements.
  • Collaborate with landmen, geologists, and other professionals in the oil and gas industry.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
  • Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting the oil and gas industry.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oil & Gas Title Attorney.
  • Proficient in title examination within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas law, including leases, contracts, property rights, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
