Interim Procurement Specialist - Oil & Gas Projects £800pd Interim Procurement Specialist - Oil & Gas Projects £800pd Duration: 12-Month Contract Location: Hybrid and in Berkshire (3 days per week) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a major global energy organisation, supporting a high-profile international projects portfolio. This role will see you working within a dynamic procurement team, helping to deliver strategic sourcing and commercial outcomes across complex capital project categories. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business, drive procurement excellence, and contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale projects. The Role: Deliver procurement support across major project and capital expenditure categories. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value. Manage tendering, supplier selection, negotiation and contract award activities. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Support contract management and supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure procurement activities align with governance, compliance and commercial best practice. Identify opportunities to reduce cost, manage risk and improve supplier performance. Requirements: Proven procurement experience within major projects, EPC, engineering, infrastructure, construction or energy environments. Oil & Gas industry experience. Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills. Experience managing complex sourcing activities and supplier relationships. Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams. Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
