Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Process Engineer in Greenville, SC. This is a full-time contract Office Based assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Process Engineer As a Process Engineer, you will provide technical direction to assigned engineers and conduct construction document reviews as required. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup. You will prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.

As a Process Engineer YOU will: Provide technical direction to assigned engineers Conduct construction document reviews as required Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications Utilize computer aided drafting applications as required YOU are the ideal Process Engineer candidate if you have: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (required) 3-12 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering Working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design Experience with P&ID development and review Design experience in mechanical systems and equipment design Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications Ability to provide technical direction and leadership to engineering teams It's a BONUS if you have: Nuclear experience Professional Engineer (PE) License Experience with Department of Energy projects Advanced knowledge of federal codes and standards About Our CLIENT Our client is a global engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance (EPCM) company that provides integrated solutions for complex and large-scale projects across a variety of industries, including energy, chemicals, infrastructure, mining, and manufacturing.
