PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location: Portland, OR Facility: Secora Rehabilitation of Cascadia Schedule: PRN / Per Diem – Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and clinically strong Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) Day Shift basis. This role provides direct nursing care to residents while ensuring compliance with all clinical standards and regulations.

PRN RNs are essential in supporting staffing needs and maintaining high-quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff on shift
  • Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with admissions/discharges
Qualifications
  • Active Oregon RN license in good standing
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
