Job description

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is expanding its privacy, data protection, and technology law team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on cutting-edge issues impacting businesses across multiple industries.

What You'll Do:

Advise clients on a wide range of privacy, data protection, and information governance matters. Help organizations navigate complex U.S. and global privacy regulations, including state, federal, and international requirements. Draft and negotiate agreements involving data use, processing, transfer, and security terms. Provide guidance on regulatory compliance for emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. Lead clients through security incident response, breach notification obligations, and post-incident remediation strategies.

What We're Looking For:

J.D. with active bar membership. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in privacy, data security, or information law. Knowledge of key regulations such as CCPA, HIPAA, and related legislation. Preferred certifications: CIPP, CIPP/E, or CIPT. Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills. Proactive, solution-focused approach to client counseling.
