Job description

Description:
  • Responsible for supporting end-to-end SDLC activities including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Responsible for applying SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum) for large complex deliveries
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevSecOps, testing, cybersecurity) to ensure alignment on technical requirements and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD security, RMF, and accreditation requirements throughout the lifecycle.
  • Support integration of automated scanning and quality gates into DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Scripting or development languages (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell)
  • Help build the enterprise software inventory by scanning code, binaries, and firmware and generating Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs) tied to authoritative vulnerability sources.
  • Access, store, transmit, and/or process Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Covered Defense Information (CDI), and Federal Contract Information (FCI) securely.


Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • SECRET Clearance
  • HS Diploma or GED minimum
  • CompTIA Security + clearance
  • DOD 8570/8140 certified (IAT Leavel II)
  • 3+ years of experience applying SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum) for large complex deliveries
  • 1+ years of experience with scripting or development languages (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps concepts, and automation tools
  • Understanding of systems engineering practices
  • Ability to create and interpret technical documentation, system diagrams, workflows, and test plans
  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America
  • Ability to travel quarterly to Scott AFB for trips up to 3 days in duration

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Relevant certifications desired, i.e.:
  • Possession of advanced Agile/SDLC certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe);
  • Cloud/DevSecOps certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Certified, AWS Certified);
  • Advanced DoD 8570 compliant Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, CISM); or
  • systems engineering framework certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL).
  • Experience in DoD or federal IT programs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) and experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and secure engineering practices
  • Experience with API integration, microservices architectures, or enterprise data flows
