Key Responsibilities
  • Managing relationships with Transportation Service Providers, focusing on the following key areas: Contract management; Identification of efficiency gains via managing continuous improvement programs; KPI management; Lead the Transportation & Import/Export Teams.
  • Oversight of inbound and outbound freight activities and outbound carrier performance
  • Ownership of the Transportation and P&L budget
  • Lead Import/Export Strategy with the Foreign Trade Office Management
  • Performance monitoring and cost reporting
  • Invoice verification, control, and documentation management
  • Transportation claims management and resolution
  • Assist Sales Business Units to find delivery solutions to customers/consignees requests
  • Implementation of X-docking models
  • Identification and implementation of new transportation routes
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives: Leading and coordinating projects across all key areas of responsibility
  • Providing support for the opening, expansion, and transfer of Distribution Centers
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Transportation management areas
  • Solid knowledge in the Foreign Trade domain
  • Proven track record of process improvement and change management
  • Previous experience in team leading
  • Willingess to travel as required per the business (from 25% to 50%)
  • Competence Knowledge of MS-Office especially with Excel
  • Good command of English language
