Power BI Job Description:
 
  • Certified Power BI Resource.
  • Must have at least 6 Years of PBI experience.
  • Experienced working on Power BI Premium.
  • Experienced in working with Power Query, M language and Power Maps, and Custom Visualizations.
  • Must have the ability to write Advanced DAX Expressions.
  • Experience in Power BI Admin(administering Power BI permissions, installing Gateways, Scheduling).
  • Ability to work with various data source like SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, SSAS, Azure Analysis Service, HDFS etc., from Power BI
  • Data Preparation using the inbuilt features of Power BI
  • Experience in Data Modelling and custom calculations in Power BI
  • Using SQL for managing large volume of data SQL Query Tuning for best performance Improving data processing speed by building SQL automations
  • Responsible for the design development coding testing debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas Keep the source code in a central repository with proper versioning control
  • Expertise in designing and suggesting UI based on user requirements.
  • Exposure to other reporting tools like Qlik and Cognos is good to have.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects.
  • Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner, self-motivated and has the ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and a collaborative problem-solving style.
  • Preferred: Willing to relocate to NYC and work in a Hybrid mode
