Overview

Video Editor job at 24 Seven Talent. Los Angeles, CA. A leading cosmetics and beauty brand is looking for a motivated Videographer / Video Editor to join a fast-paced creative team producing high-quality content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

Contract to hire • Onsite in West LA • Pay: $40-50/hr

Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior editors and creative leadership to bring concepts to life across TikTok, Reels, YouTube, brand films, sizzle reels, and case studies.
  • Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets as part of streamlined post-production workflows.
  • Build rough cuts, string-outs, and assemblies from creative briefs or scripts, keeping timelines clean and clearly labeled.
  • Support light color correction, audio leveling, and basic motion graphics under the guidance of senior editors.
  • Maintain meticulous project organization and manage storage across shared drives and cloud platforms.
  • Export, encode, and deliver final videos in multiple aspect ratios and codecs optimized for social and digital channels.
  • Handle revisions, version control, and final deliveries based on specs and stakeholder feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and production teams to ensure everything aligns with brand standards and visual identity.
  • Troubleshoot common post-production issues and assist with software/hardware setup when needed.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging editing tools, and best practices for highly engaging social content.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience (internships and freelance count).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience working with ARRI, RED, Canon and/or Phantom footage workflows.
  • On-set DIT experience is a plus.
