Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience


Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM


East Coast Power Systems is hiring multiple Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, machine operating, or metal fabrication experience - and we are willing to train the right candidate.


About the Position

Machine Operators are responsible for operating a variety of production and metal fabrication equipment used to manufacture copper, aluminum, and other components for electrical power distribution equipment.

Because we are hiring for multiple openings, operators may be assigned to different machines based on experience, skill level, and business needs. Training will be provided on company-specific equipment and processes.

Equipment includes:

  • Amada Punch Press
  • Amada Bending Brake
  • Amada Laser
  • EHRT Copper Bender
  • EHRT Copper Punch
  • Shears
  • Ironworkers
  • Other metal fabrication and production equipment


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production machinery according to job requirements and production schedules
  • Fabricate and process copper, aluminum, and other metal components
  • Read and follow mechanical/shop drawings, work instructions, and specifications
  • Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet quality requirements
  • Use tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
  • Identify and report equipment, material, or production issues
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
  • Safely handle materials and finished components


Qualifications

  • Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or metal fabrication experience preferred
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply - we are willing to train the right person
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
