Position: Snowflake Administrator / Data Platform Engineer
Location: Novi, MI (onsite )
Contract: 6-12+ Months
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Administrator / Data Platform Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on Snowflake administration experience to manage, optimize, secure, and support enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, security governance, performance tuning, user access management, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across cloud-based data ecosystems. Responsibilities align with Snowflake administrative functions such as role management, SCIM-based provisioning, warehouse administration, security, governance, monitoring, and performance optimization
Experience
  • 4+ years of Snowflake Administration experience
  • 6+ years of overall Data Platform or Data Engineering experience
  • Experience supporting production-critical Snowflake environments
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environments

Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Platform Administration
  • Administer and maintain Snowflake accounts, databases, schemas, warehouses, resource monitors, and storage integrations.
  • Create and manage users, roles, grants, RBAC hierarchy, and access policies.
  • Implement enterprise security controls and governance frameworks.
  • Manage Snowflake account parameters and platform configurations.

Identity & Access Management
  • Configure and support SSO, SCIM provisioning, and federation integrations.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege security models.

  • Implement masking policies, row-level security, and data classification.
