Hourly Rate: $19.00 โ€“ $24.00 per hour

Location: Millbrae, California; Onsite Position Summary

As a Paraprofessional, you will support students with IEPs in classroom and one-to-one educational settings within a school-based environment. This role involves assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially while implementing educational and behavioral support strategies under the direction of school staff and BCBAs when applicable. Responsibilities include supporting classroom routines, implementing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating closely with teachers and educational teams to promote student success. Responsibilities Schedule / Shift
  • Shift details: School-day schedule, Mondayโ€“Friday
  • Hours per week: Full time
  • Contract length: School-based assignment
Key Duties
  • Implement student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with fidelity
  • Assist teachers and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to support classroom and school routines
  • Provide one-to-one and classroom-based support to students with behavioral and academic needs
  • Accurately collect, document, and report student behavioral and academic data
  • Utilize CPI de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for student safety
  • Support students in achieving social, behavioral, and educational goals
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned
Requirements Education
  • Required: Associateโ€™s degree or higher
Licenses & Certifications
  • Required: Active Paraprofessional certification
  • Additional certifications (if applicable): CPI Certification preferred
Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct experience, preferably within a public school setting
  • Knowledge of ABA strategies and behavior intervention techniques
  • Strong empathy, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during behavioral escalations
  • Ability to physically support students and participate in active classroom environments
