Shift: 12-hour shift: 7p-7a

In-house contract positions are for 13 weeks. This is a flat rate, not eligible for shift differentials or holiday pay. • Not eligible for benefits • Flat rate – not eligible for shift differentials or holiday pay, eligible for overtime • $65/hr for Nights

Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers both complex and routine care for a range of specialties.

Suburban Hospital is the first and only hospital in the county to receive the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program credential, which is the highest national honor for professional nursing practice and quality patient care.

Unit/Role Info: Ortho-Neuro

The Registered Nurse coordinates care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes. Provides direction to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Provides evidence-based practice care based on the nursing process policy, procedures, and protocols. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient care outcomes. Participates and promotes quality clinical improvement by supporting standards within a given care setting. Practices and promotes responsible cost effective use of resources. Completes all identified annual requirements and competencies for the patient population, care setting, department, and institution. Participates in the performance appraisal process. Demonstrates organizations core values on a consistent basis.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required)
  • CPR - Basic CPR Upon Hire (Required)
  • Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience required

Salary Range: Minimum 65.00/hour - Maximum 65.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
