Job SummaryThe Contract Obligation & Strategy Analyst at SHI International collaborates with Optimization Coaches to document and update processes, performing data collection and analysis to support sales and marketing initiatives. This role involves leading long-term data projects, improving reporting processes, onboarding new teams to organizational tools, and generating reports for special projects. The Sales Support Analyst also provides recommendations aligned with Public Sector business strategies and ensures effective communication and alignment between marketing and sales leadership.

Role Description

  • Assist with the development and implementation of contract management strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements in contract operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, legal, and SHI leadership to ensure smooth contract operations.

  • Analyze and track the performance of existing contracts using a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool.

  • Managing the lifecycle of contract partner onboarding and flow-down processes within the CLM tool.

  • Gather, organize, and manage contract-related data for analysis. This could involve maintaining a database of contract details, terms, and performance metrics.

  • Identify and anticipate potential operational risks within Request for Proposals (RFPs) and contracts, then develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

  • Support negotiation processes by providing data-driven insights, aligning with operational standards, and offering recommendations.

  • Document and present information regarding the capabilities of SHI standard processes, tools, and teams.

  • Professional presence in all levels of communication.

  • Collaborate and contribute during the Request for Proposal process on strategic contract opportunities, including the presentation of operational requirements, providing strategic recommendations, communicating with various internal SHI departments, monitoring operational action items, and reviewing drafts.

  • Manage internal and external contract audit processes from initial investigation through to resolution.

  • Liaise with Optimization Coaches to ensure processes are well documented and updated as needed.

  • Perform process building, data collection, analysis, and reporting for sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Lead high-level, long-term data projects in collaboration with various organizational groups.

  • Maintain and improve processes for better reporting and support resource allocation for new teams.

  • Onboard new teams to organizational tools and operational builds.

  • Communicate regularly with coaches regarding necessary changes to personnel training.

  • Generate and manage standard and ad hoc reports for special projects, merging data from various tools and databases.

  • Collaborate on the Public Sector SharePoint portal to enhance tool usage and reporting.

  • Provide proactive recommendations that align with Public Sector business strategies.

  • Align marketing and sales leadership with activities to ensure optimal execution by the team

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales, contract, sales operations, sales support, analyst, or similar role

  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events

  • Ability to travel 10%

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Powerpoint and Teams

The base salary pay range for this position is $45,000 - $95,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
