Position: Assistant Project Manager
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: Ironton, Ohio
Pay Range: $65,000 - $110,000
We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.
Superior is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping make operations on-site more efficient and will play a key role in our contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. This role is based on a jobsite in Ironton, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into project documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process
  • Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
  • Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
  • Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
  • Work closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
  • Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock
  • Develop an understanding of project finance, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leadership 

Your Expertise
  • Required: You have at least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site (including relevant internship experience), or a degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field — or a Construction Management certificate
  • Bonus Points: You have prior experience supporting commercial construction projects in a Project Operations role 
  • Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
