Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Inspector to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide the inspection and testing of fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes
  • Maintain complete and accurate inspection report documentation, including deficiency repair recommendations
  • Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site
  • Interact professionally with customers
  • Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules 
  • Communicate inspection status, changes or problems to supervisor or manager  
  • Work overtime when needed
  • Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role
  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years’ experience in testing, inspecting, or servicing fire alarm
  • Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturer certifications preferred (ex. Siemens, Notifier, Honeywell, Bosch)

Compensation based on experience range: $38-$48/hr
