The Notifier 1 reports to the Senior Consulting Utility Forester (Notification Supervisor) at ACRT Inc. This position will play a key role in providing an educational, personable, and professional interface with customers. This position requires a high degree of organization, excellent interpersonal communication skills, exceptional time management, and a willingness to travel as needed.
Communicate with Customers
Interact with stakeholders, utility customers, and line clearance vendors
Inform property owners of impending utility vegetation management through face-to-face interactions or leaving door hanger cards
Answer questions from customers and property owners regarding utility vegetation management to the best of your ability
May provide general information about utility vegetation management to customers, when applicable
Refer customer or property owner's complaints to the appropriate personnel when an inquiry cannot be directly answered right away
Show courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and other employees
Utility Vegetation Management Assistance
Work in varied terrain and inclement weather conditions with flexibility in scheduling
Inspect electric utility hardware and report anything which may pose a hazard
May be called upon to be trained to assist in storm restoration efforts
Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; may substitute 5 years of experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED
Experience: No experience is necessary. Employees will be trained. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and work independently and as a team
Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with customers
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgement to make good business decisions
Competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft 365
