Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Contract Network Engineer role with Kforce client in Chicago, IL
- Long-term contract, onsite required at both downtown Chicago and Lake Forest offices
- Join a collaborative team of 5 Network Engineers, working closely with remote colleagues
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing and switching
- Support and maintain network access points and wireless connectivity
- Partner with remote team to support ongoing network initiatives
- Assist with cloud networking and integrations (Azure, AWS)
- Diagnose and resolve network-related incidents and service requests
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures using ITSM/ticketing tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders for stable, secure, and scalable network operations
- Must have proven enterprise network engineering experience
- Required hands-on skills: routing, switching, wireless/access points
- Working knowledge of Azure and AWS networking concepts
- Must be able to work onsite and travel between Chicago and Lake Forest offices
- Must have LinkedIn profile for submission
