Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• Work 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend rotation required
• No holiday rotation required
• May be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Float between primary location and Howard Young Wound Clinic in Woodruff, WI
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 8 or 9 visits per day with CNA assistance
• Perform topical wound care, compression wraps, wound VACs, total contact casting, conservative sharp wound debridement, ostomy pouching system changes, and peristomal skin breakdown treatment
• Carry out plan of care developed by NP who sees active patients at least weekly
• Perform inpatient and ED consultations
• Minimum 2 years of wound care experience or wound care certification required
• Wound and ostomy experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Wisconsin or compact RN license required
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Wound and ostomy certification preferred
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Any color scrubs permitted; closed-toed shoes required; no fake nails or nail polish
• Must reside outside of 50-mile radius

This healthcare facility is an outpatient procedural department offering comprehensive wound and ostomy care services. The facility operates with a collaborative care model where nurse practitioners develop individualized plans of care and registered nurses carry out treatments for patients. The department also provides inpatient and emergency department consultations, ensuring patients across the health system receive specialized wound care expertise.
