SUMMARY

This position is responsible for Indexing and Reviewing signed loan closing documents into Encompass following company's guidelines. Contacting Borrowers, Title Companies or FUBM Closers/Funders for missing or un-signed closing documents and confirming receipt. Working Audit Indexing Loan Request from Mortgage Compliance. Delegating loans to be indexed or that have been requested by Audit to other Post-Closing team members if required.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Indexes and reviews signed closing documents into Encompass efolder, keeping up with all Company policies. Contacts Borrowers, Title Companies or FUBM Closers/funders for missing or non-signed closing documents. Completes audit loan request and/or required corrections from Mortgage Compliance. Contacts other Team Members to assist with indexing to keep pipeline count to meet company policies. Provides back-up for Mortgage Post-Closing Incoming Mail Specialist. Provides backup for Mortgage Post-Closing Scanning/Shredding Specialist. Scanning and Indexing recorded MTG/DOT and TPOL. Provides back-up assistance to others within the department as needed.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as requested by Management.
  • Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
  • Adheres to First United Dress policy.
  • Recommends to Manager possible methods to improve department.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS for Senior Loan Delivery Specialist, I, II, III

Years of Experience required for Document Indexing Specialist Titles

  • Less than 2 Years Mortgage Experience (Specialist)
  • 2-4 Years Mortgage Experience (Specialist I)
  • 4-6 Years Mortgage Experience (Specialist II)
  • 8 Plus Years Mortgage Experience (Specialist III)

Education and Work Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior banking/mortgage experience preferred.
