Title: Program Assistant - Data Entry Support Specialist
Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8-5pm
Overview:
We are seeking a detail‐oriented and reliable Front Desk & Data Entry Support Specialist to provide administrative and front‐office coverage in a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, efficient management of patient electronic documents, and front desk phone coverage during scheduled breaks for the primary receptionist.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high‐volume, accurate data entry into electronic systems, ensuring patient information and documentation are complete and correctly filed
- Assign, scan, and index patient electronic documents promptly and accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) or document management system
- Ok to not have, just be able to show they learned other ones.
- Provide front desk phone coverage during scheduled breaks, including answering incoming calls, screening inquiries, and routing calls to the appropriate departments or staff
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner when supporting the front desk
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient privacy standards at all times
- Support general administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth front‐office operations
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or front desk setting
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced, patient‐focused environment
- Professional phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with electronic systems and document management tools
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or patient document systems
- Experience handling multi‐line phones or high call volume environments
Compensation
$20/hr to $22/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
