**Required Skills / Certifications / Experience:** - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years - Must have Neuro Experience - Previous Stroke Certified Hospital Experience (Preferred) - Work Setting Skills: Interventional Radiology & Special Procedures - Equipment/Operation/Maintenance Skills: Maintains equipment, PACS & stocks supplies - Skills in Abdominal and Pelvic Procedures: Angioplasty, Chemoembolization, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement/removal, Mesenteric Angiogram, Pelvic angiography, Selective visceral angiography, Superior vena cavogram, etc. - Skills in Genitourinary Studies/Procedures: Angiography of genitourinary system, Catheter/drain exchange, Ureteral Stent Placement, etc. - Skills in Neurological Studies/Procedures: Carotid Angiography, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Vertebroplasty - Skills in Vascular Studies/Procedures: Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TIPS - Venous Access Skills: Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines) - Equipment and Devices Skills: Fluoroscopy - Procedural Responsibilities Skills: Equipment set up, Prep access site, Room circulator & Scrub- maintain sterile field - Professional Knowledge and Skills: 3D imaging, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Lead tech experience, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Infection Control Skills: Sterile Technique - Certifications: ARRT & BLS **Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience:** - Equipment/Operation/Maintenance Skills: Maintains inventory - Various procedure skills in different areas (see extended list in description) - Equipment and Devices Skills: GE Innova IGS, Siemens, Ultrasound - Procedural Responsibilities Skills: Perform EKG lead placement, Vascular Closure Systems - Certifications: ARRT CI & ARRT VI **Job Specifics:** - Shift: 8-Hour Days; 08:30 - 17:00; Monday - Friday - Call Requirement: Yes. One day per week; rotation-Tuesday, Thursday, Monday, Wednesday, Weekend - Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every 6-7 weeks - Unit Orientation: 40 hours - Charting System: EPIC (Required) - RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. - Travel Experience Required: Yes **Additional Requirements:** - Must be willing to accommodate schedule changes dictated by Novant's schedule - Orientation is mandatory and missing any portion might result in a delayed or canceled start - Local candidates (within 50 miles) subject to lower rate - Must comply with pre-start module completion requirements
