Join Our Team as a Specialty Coder Sr. (Cardio/Vascular) - Remote Opportunity!Are you an experienced coding professional with a passion for cardiovascular and vascular procedures? We're seeking a dedicated Specialty Coder Sr. to join our remote team, focusing on high-dollar inpatient and outpatient coding for cardiovascular and vascular surgeries and diagnostics. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT coding, and a desire to contribute to accurate medical billing, this is your chance to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.What You'll Do:

  • Code complex cardio/vascular procedures and diagnoses with precision, maintaining a 95% or higher accuracy rate
  • Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to ensure complete and accurate coding
  • Abstract data into electronic medical record systems, verifying patient dispositions and physician information
  • Collaborate with HIM and Clinical Documentation Specialists to optimize documentation quality and billing accuracy
  • Work in a hybrid setting, balancing remote work with necessary on-site collaboration as needed
Required Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (certification verification required)
  • 2+ years of relevant coding experience post-certification, with no apprentice statuses
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly EPIC
