The Sparta R-III School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for a High School Mathematics Teacher for the 2026 2027 school year. We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused educator who is passionate about helping students develop strong mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence in their abilities.
Sparta R-III School District operates on a four-day school week (Tuesday through Friday), with one Monday each month designated as a staff professional development day. This schedule provides teachers with valuable time for collaboration, lesson planning, and ongoing professional growth while maintaining a strong focus on student achievement.
Applicants must hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Mathematics or be eligible to obtain certification prior to the start of the school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional practices, the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and the community. Experience with data-driven instruction, technology integration, and collaborative team environments is preferred.
Sparta High School is committed to academic excellence and creating a supportive learning environment where all students can succeed.
