Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Stockroom role provides guidance, support, and motivation to staff, manage conflict, monitor processes, represent their team, and trains staff to ensure tasks are being performed accurately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists Supervisor with managing, guiding, coaching and adjusting work flow as needed to accomplish goal.
  • Ensures team members are trained and follow safety requirements.
  • Ensures team members are trained per their job duties and understand takt time.
  • Identifies and helps improve safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.
  • Articulates problems, temporary containments, gap analysis, actions, and sustainment through an A3 process.
  • Tracks SQDC metrics.
  • Travels between plants to deliver parts.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Valid Driver's License

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
