Shift premium= 5%. 2nd shift, 4-10's Monday through Thursday!

Come join a great team in a growing company! Classic Machining is a leading full-service machine shop in Kaukauna with a wide variety of capabilities. The Company's products are used in a number of industries and applications sold worldwide. Classic operates from a modern facility in Kaukauna, WI where the Company employs 41 people.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

A key Team Member to work with a group of machinist striving to continuously improve Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Savings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Program, setup and run a CNC Machine to manufacture parts according to customer specs.
  • Study blueprints to plan most effective and efficient way to manufacture.
  • Operate machine to produce consistent quality parts to specs in the time frame allowed.
  • Use measuring equipment to inspect parts for quality. Including 1 st piece inspection.
  • Support problem solving small group activities.
  • Willingness to work overtime to complete jobs for on time delivery.
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring new opportunities to add value to job.
  • 3-5 Years of machining experience
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings.
  • Must possess strong math, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
