This Landscape Maintenance Account Manager role serves as the primary liaison between the design-build team and homeowners, ensuring that high-end residential landscapes are meticulously maintained and enhanced over time. The primary objective is to drive client satisfaction, manage property care contracts, and proactively identify opportunities for outdoor living upgrades. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of luxury residential clients, ensuring complete satisfaction and rapid response to ongoing maintenance inquiries.
  • Manage and renew annual landscape maintenance contracts while actively identifying opportunities for property enhancements, seasonal color programs, and specialized care plans.
  • Collaborate closely with landscape architects, masonry experts, and installation crews to ensure a seamless transition from the initial construction phase to long-term property maintenance.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor plant health, turf conditions, hardscaping, and overall property aesthetics, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Prepare, present, and close enhancement proposals and service estimates for existing clients.
  • Coordinate scheduling and quality control with field supervisors and maintenance crews to guarantee all work meets rigorous luxury standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent handsโ€‘on industry experience).
  • Proven experience in landscape account management, specifically tailored to the luxury residential or highโ€‘end commercial market.
  • Strong botanical knowledge, including regional plant identification, pest management, turf care, and best practices in landscape preservation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building lasting relationships with discerning clients.
  • Proficiency in landscape management software, CRM platforms, and standard estimating tools.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and the ability to conduct frequent local site visits throughout the Washington, DC metro area.
  • Base salary starting at $90,000 commensurate with experience
