Overview

The Associate Corporate Counsel will provide key legal support to the organization across a wide array of areas, including contract management, real estate, labor and employment, corporate governance, and litigation support, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements; review and negotiate vendor contracts with consultants, software providers, facility suppliers, and others; support customer on-boarding efforts.
  • Real Estate: coordinate with outside counsel to review and negotiate facility lease agreements; assist with lease interpretation and resolution of facility issues with legal implications.
  • Labor and Employment: support AIT Human Resources with legal inquiries regarding past, present, and future employees; assist with the drafting and maintenance of employment agreements and labor policies; provide guidance on the interpretation of non-competition and non-solicitation covenants.
  • Corporate Governance / Litigation: provide support for corporate information requests from internal and external requesting parties; assist with ongoing litigation and discovery requests; draft demand letters and help facilitate the collection of unpaid invoices.
  • The wage range for this position is $92,700.00-$139,060.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience
Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor and bar admission to practice law Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 1+ years work experience in transportation, trade law, labor law or in-house corporate law - Preferred
  • 1+ years work experience in real estate law or labor and employment law - Preferred
  • 1+ years experience with drafting, reviewing and negotiating contract and service agreements - Required

Skills and Abilities
