Overview
Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Management Analyst to support a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics & Engineering (G-4) at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust data systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, process automation, and database management, and will be adept at transforming complex datasets into actionable insights for leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Palantir's Foundry and Microsoft's Power Platform to design and maintain full data lifecycles (e.g., collection, engineering, and reporting).
  • Study, document, and transition complex legacy processes to ensure business continuity and identify opportunities for modernization.
  • Build data pipelines and code repositories to combine and analyze datasets from SAP and other enterprise sources.
  • Develop systems to plan, track, and validate large-scale financial and logistical data across multiple functional areas and fiscal years.
  • Engineer databases to automate data collection, ensure data uniformity, track auditable actions, and facilitate analysis.
  • Create insightful and dynamic reporting dashboards to support executive reviews and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather project requirements and ensure steady progress and clear communication.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of professional experience as a data analyst or similar data-focused role.
  • Experience creating interactive reports using modern data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in coding (e.g., Python, SQL, R) to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience designing databases and user-interfaces to collect data and automate workflows.
  • Strong ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active U.S. government issued security clearance at the appropriate level for the duration of the contract Period of Performance. U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft's Power Platform
  • Experience with Palantir's Foundry - specifically MAVEN, Vantage, or APAS.
  • Familiarity with military supply chain, logistics, or financial management systems (e.g., GFEBS, GCSS-Army).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
