LITIGATION, CORPORATE & REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL

Las Vegas, Nevada | Full-Time

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Litigation, Corporate & Real Estate Paralegal to support the company's in-house legal function. The immediate priority is a strong litigation paralegal who can manage active matters, deadlines, discovery, filings, evidence, and outside-counsel coordination while also supporting corporate governance, contracts, and real estate transactions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of substantive paralegal experience, including significant civil or commercial litigation work. Experience with corporate records, contracts, real estate, construction, or transactional matters is strongly preferred. Detailed land-development experience is helpful but not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

·         Maintain litigation matter files, chronologies, case calendars, court deadlines, hearing dates, discovery schedules, and status trackers.

·         Draft and format pleadings, notices, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, declarations, exhibit lists, correspondence, and other litigation documents for attorney review.

·         File and serve documents in Nevada state and federal courts and monitor rules, filing confirmations, service, and follow-up requirements.

·         Coordinate written discovery, document collection, review, production, privilege tracking, subpoenas, depositions, expert materials, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.

·         Organize evidence, contracts, communications, business records, witness materials, deposition exhibits, hearing binders, and trial files.

·         Support legal holds, document preservation, e-discovery workflows, and collection of information from business teams and third parties.

·         Coordinate with outside counsel, courts, process servers, vendors, insurers, witnesses, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

·         Maintain corporate entity records, minute books, formation documents, operating agreements, written consents, resolutions, annual filings, licenses, ownership records, and certificates of good standing.

·         Support contract administration, signature routing, document comparison, approval tracking, renewal dates, obligations, and organized contract files..

·         Prepare concise litigation, corporate, contract, and transaction status summaries for counsel and senior management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

·         Paralegal certificate, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and substantive experience.

·         At least 4 years of paralegal experience, with significant civil, commercial, real estate, construction, or business litigation responsibility.

·         Strong working knowledge of Nevada state and federal court procedures, e-filing, service, calendaring, discovery, and litigation deadlines.

·         Demonstrated experience preparing litigation documents and managing discovery and trial-preparation materials under attorney supervision.

·         Advanced attention to detail, proofreading, document organization, deadline management, and follow-through.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills and the judgment to handle confidential and sensitive information.

·         Resilient, proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing a high-volume workload with competing priorities.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, legal research tools, case-management systems, and electronic document-management platforms.

PARTICULARLY VALUABLE EXPERIENCE

·         Nevada state and federal court filings and docket management

·         Discovery, subpoenas, document production, e-discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation

·         Outside-counsel coordination, legal invoicing, and matter reporting

·         Corporate entity records, consents, resolutions, annual filings, licenses, and minute books
