Litigation Attorney

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney or Associate Attorney to manage a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on real estate and property-related disputes.

The ideal candidate is a confident legal professional who can manage cases independently, provide practical legal guidance, and work closely with internal leadership and outside counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil, commercial, and real estate litigation matters from initial review through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies
  • Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances
  • Review contracts, leases, claims, notices, and other legal documents
  • Advise leadership regarding legal risk, potential exposure, and recommended next steps
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, witnesses, and internal business teams
  • Maintain case files, deadlines, documentation, and status updates
  • Support matters involving landlord-tenant disputes, construction, contracts, title, HOA, and other property-related issues

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Nevada State Bar license in good standing
  • Civil or commercial litigation experience
  • Experience with real estate, property, construction, landlord-tenant, HOA, title, or contract disputes preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and professional communication skills
  • Trial, deposition, mediation, or arbitration experience is highly valued
