Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Perfecto-based mobile automation, Java, Appium, and CI/CD toolchains, and a proven ability to design and enhance robust mobile test automation frameworks that improve quality and performance across diverse devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply innovative approaches to uncover issues during development.
  • Design and implement new testing frameworks for future products and features.
  • Participate in code reviews of standards, procedures, tools, and quality processes.
  • Maintain automated regression suites to align with changing requirements and features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Java with experience enhancing UI test automation and application frameworks using Appium.
  • Strong Shell scripting skills.
  • Mobile test automation expertise with Appium.
  • Experience with Selenium and TestNG.
  • 5+ years as an SDET or QA with manual and automated testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
  • Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools.
  • Experience with source control and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Perforce, Git, or Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with continuous integration of unit tests and automated test suites.
  • Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills in fast-paced, team-based environments.

Primary and Secondary Skills:

  • Primary: Perfecto for mobile automation, performance, and monitoring.
  • Secondary: Selenium.

Work Arrangement and Hiring Process

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week in Charlotte, NC.
  • Start month: October.
  • Interview process: One to two rounds. Video required. In-person interview required.
  • Glider ID verification required.
  • Maximum three submissions per vendor.
