Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring ecosystem, cloud and container platforms, messaging, and modern DevOps toolsets and a proven ability to deliver high-quality application enhancements, unit-tested code, and production-ready solutions within Agile teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and update application code with comprehensive unit tests.
  • Provide development support during functional, integration, and user testing.
  • Create proofs of concept to evaluate new technologies and patterns.
  • Support application deployments and contribute to production readiness planning.
  • Collaborate within an Agile team under a team lead and interface with clients as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of container and cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and Azure.
  • Expertise in Java/J2EE with 7+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency with Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, RESTful services, SOAP, WS-Security.
  • Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong SQL skills for Oracle or SQL Server, including complex queries.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with UI frameworks such as Angular and React.
  • Experience with tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Autosys.
  • Code quality and testing expertise using JUnit and Sonar/Crucible.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring summaries and production support practices.
  • Familiarity with enterprise assessment processes such as Glider for Java and Spring.

Work Arrangement & Process Details:

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week. Onsite from day 1.
  • Target start month: September or October.
  • Interview process: technical discussion followed by a secondary interview. Video is required.
  • Glider assessment required. Use: App Prog IV & V (Java, Java Spring, REST API/SOAP/Spring Boot). Attach full assessment to resume. Include monitoring summary.
