As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support our business objectives and drive innovation. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs and enhance operational efficiency.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 4+ years of experience in software business development, with a strong understanding of customer success management and software engineering principles and lifecycle.

Customer Success

  • Owns account health and churn/retention, defines and defends a health score (L3)
  • Runs a QBR a GM would sit through, leads with the recommendation (L3)
  • Ties usage to business outcomes, spots expansion and risk signals (L2-L3)

Data Analysis

  • Frames a vague business question into a specific, answerable one (L3)
  • Cohorts, retention curves, churn rates; knows correlation is not causation (L2-L3)
  • One clear chart per point, narrative first, no dashboard dumps (L3)
  • Python/pandas for messy data outside SQL (L2)

Database

  • SQL: joins, CTEs, window functions, by hand, no tutorial (L3, non-negotiable)
  • Reads an ERD, spots a bad grain, understands normalization vs star schema (L2-L3)
  • Works in a cloud warehouse (Snowflake or equivalent), treats data quality as a real problem (L2-L3)

Integration layer (weight this heaviest)

  • Signal to query: "this customer seems disengaged" becomes a telemetry query (L3)
  • Finds and explains CRM vs platform reconciliation gaps (L3)
  • Goes from raw data to exec-ready recommendation in one motion (L3)
