Job description

We are seeking a Lead Functional Consultant with experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Icertis, and federal procurement/contracting to support enterprise contract intelligence solutions for government and highly regulated organizations.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional consulting experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and a solid understanding of federal acquisition and procurement processes, including FAR, DFARS, IDIQs, BPAs, and RFPs. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, contracting teams, technical teams, and customers to translate business requirements into scalable and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a functional and domain SME across federal acquisition, contracting, procurement, compliance, and CLM.

  • Support and optimize Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) solutions.

  • Translate customer and business requirements into scalable functional configurations and workflows.

  • Lead requirements gathering, design sessions, solution walkthroughs, and functional validation.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex functional issues and perform root-cause analysis.

  • Determine whether issues are related to configuration, data, business processes, integrations, or product behavior.

  • Coordinate with technical, engineering, security, cloud, and support teams to drive issue resolution.

  • Ensure solutions align with federal security, compliance, audit, data retention, and records management requirements.

  • Support change management, user adoption, training, and documentation.

  • Identify functional, process, compliance, and delivery risks and drive appropriate mitigation.

  • Contribute to reusable implementation methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in functional consulting, professional services, customer success, enterprise application support, or a similar role.

  • Hands-on experience supporting or implementing enterprise SaaS, CLM, ERP, procurement, supply chain, or similar business applications.

  • Experience with Icertis, CLM, or another Contract Lifecycle Management platform.

  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition and procurement processes, including FAR, DFARS, IDIQs, BPAs, and RFPs.

  • Experience with application configuration, functional design, workflow configuration, and solution validation.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and compliant workflows.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with contracting officers, program managers, business stakeholders, technical teams, and executives.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting U.S. federal agencies or federal system integrators.

  • Experience with Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI).

  • Experience with CLM platforms such as Icertis, Ironclad, Conga, DocuSign CLM, SAP Ariba, or Coupa.

  • Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, secure integrations, IAM, CAC/PIV, or PKI.

  • Experience working in environments subject to audit, FOIA, records management, or stringent compliance requirements.

  • Experience with government contracting and regulated environments.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a functional/domain expert rather than a software developer. You should be comfortable working at the intersection of CLM technology, federal procurement, contract management, and customer-facing functional consulting.

Strong candidates with experience in Icertis or comparable CLM platforms and a background in federal contracting/procurement are encouraged to apply.
