Precision beats speed when speed creates rework. We are hiring a Restoration Cleaning & Detail Specialist who takes first-pass quality, project separation, inventory control, and customer property seriously.

WHY THIS ROLE

This is not ordinary janitorial work. You will inspect materials, choose approved methods within your training, clean and deodorize contents, protect fragile items, prevent cross-contamination, maintain inventory identity, and inspect your own work before it moves forward. The right person gets satisfaction from precision, repeatable methods, and first-pass quality.

YOU WILL OWN

·    Inspect assigned contents and use the approved cleaning method based on material, finish, condition, contamination, project instructions, and training.

·    Perform authorized HEPA vacuuming, damp wiping, hand cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, soot/residue removal, deodorization, and other approved methods.

·    Isolate or escalate electronics, artwork, documents, textiles, delicate finishes, high-value items, unknown materials, and anything outside your training.

·    Inspect work before and after cleaning, identify rework or damage quickly, and meet production goals without sacrificing quality or documentation.

·    Maintain barcodes, labels, counts, photos, project separation, packaging, and storage locations throughout production.

MUST-HAVES

·    Valid driver license and ability to satisfy company motor-vehicle and insurance requirements for work-related driving.

·    Ability to learn and consistently use cleaning equipment, mobile devices, inventory/project software, labels, cameras, and timekeeping systems.

·    Ability to read and follow labels, safety data, cleaning instructions, work orders, and detailed inventory procedures.

·    Ability to meet schedule, travel, warehouse, and field-assignment requirements.

·    Ability to perform the essential physical functions, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds independently when required, with team lifts or approved equipment for heavier or awkward items, with reasonable accommodation as required by law.

NICE-TO-HAVES

·    Professional cleaning, contents restoration, housekeeping, manufacturing, warehouse production, detailing, or quality-control experience.

·    IICRC or other relevant restoration or cleaning training.

·    Experience with ultrasonic cleaning, deodorization, HEPA methods, or fragile-item handling.

SCHEDULE / TRAVEL / CONDITIONS

Normally Monday through Friday, with start and end times that vary by assignment. Evening, weekend, overnight, overtime, emergency-response, and limited on-call work may be required. Work is generally within about a three-hour driving radius of Chesapeake, Virginia, but assignments can extend beyond that area and overnight travel may be required.

The role is primarily production/warehouse based but includes field assignments. Work may involve restoration chemicals, cleaning agents, smoke/soot/mold-affected contents, odors, dust, humidity, noise, active job sites, and PPE. Physical work includes standing/walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, stairs/ladders, driving, and repetitive hand/arm motion.
