Position Overview
We are partnering with an established consumer products manufacturer to place a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector on their production team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with OTC drug, cosmetic, or regulated manufacturing experience to join a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The right candidate takes pride in documentation accuracy, GMP compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold the integrity of a Quality Management System.
Type: 6-month Contract-to-hire | Hours: M-F M-F 2nd shift, 3 Saturdays out of the month | Location: Onsite in Chino, CA
What You'll Do
  • Perform routine and in-depth quality inspections of packaging components, bulk materials, sanitized equipment, and finished goods.
  • Produce and maintain thorough, accurate inspection records and supporting documentation.
  • Audit and verify production checks at startup, in-process, and end-of-run stages.
  • Review and release quality inspection records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Interpret Fill & Assembly Instructions (routers) to support production quality needs.
  • Monitor and enforce GMP compliance throughout the work environment.
  • Maintain retain sample storage and inventory controls.
  • Identify and communicate non-conformances and support quality alert investigations and CAPA activities as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Control personnel, Production Line Leaders, and Equipment Setup Mechanics to resolve issues.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in an OTC drug and/or cosmetic care manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Some line inspection and documentation experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Additional QA experience and working knowledge of FDA regulations is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools including calculators, rulers, scales, and digital/spring torque meters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid clerical and time management abilities.
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions independently in a fast-paced environment.
