Job description

The LANG Team of Pillar to Post is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Inspector to join our team in Upland as a Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in helping clients make informed decisions by thoroughly assessing residential properties and providing comprehensive home inspection reports. We need a home inspector immedaitely to plug into our busy schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential and some commercial properties including the structure, roof, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, and more.
  • Perform pool inspections, sewer scopes, and mold assessments as needed.
  • Prepare detailed and easy-to-understand inspection reports for clients.
  • Communicate findings and answer clients’ questions during or after inspections.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • Use specialized tools and technology to accurately assess property conditions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a home inspector is MANDATORY
  • Certified inspector through ASHI, CREIA, or interNACHI
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction, systems, and safety standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Availability Monday through Saturday to perform home inspections.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
