Responsibilities:

  • The Quality Inspector conducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to validate compliance to design data requirements which include drawings, specifications, and contract requirements at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.
  • Use a variety of measuring devices, testing equipment, and statistical control processes.
  • Perform Initial Sample Inspections Records (ISIR)/ First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections and raise notifications of non-conformance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement / process improvement.
