Overview: We are seeking a skilled and certified Contract Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and certifications in various inspection disciplines, ensuring compliance with construction standards and regulations. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
    • Perform field tests on concrete to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
    • Document and report test results accurately.
    • Conduct soil density tests using nuclear gauges.
    • Evaluate soil compaction and ensure it meets project requirements.
    • Maintain and calibrate equipment as necessary.
    • Inspect reinforced concrete structures to verify adherence to construction drawings and codes.
    • Review and approve reinforcing steel placement, formwork, and concrete placement.
    • Inspect pre-stressed concrete components during fabrication and installation.
    • Verify compliance with specifications and industry standards.
    • Inspect masonry construction, including materials, methods, and workmanship.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and project specifications.
    • Inspect structural steel fabrication and erection.
    • Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and weld quality.
