Job description

MuleSoft Integration Developer

12-month contract to start.

 Role Overview

The MuleSoft Integration Developer will design, build, and implement integration solutions supporting Project Keystone’s modernization of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems. This role will focus on developing scalable, secure, and well‑governed integrations across Icertis, Infor LN, Costpoint, and associated enterprise systems using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The developer will work hands‑on to translate functional and technical requirements into integration flows, APIs, and reusable components; ensure alignment with architecture standards; and support end‑to‑end integration testing, deployment, and hypercare. The ideal candidate has deep Mule 4 development experience, strong API design skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional technical and business teams in a fast‑paced transformation environment.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and implement Mule 4 integrations using Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.

·       Build RAML/OpenAPI‑based REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and MuleSoft best practices.

·       Develop and maintain integration flows across Icertis, Infor LN, Costpoint, and supporting systems as part of the Keystone ecosystem.

·       Implement authentication and security protocols including OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, and encryption policies.

·       Ensure integrations include appropriate error handling, logging, retry logic, auditing, and monitoring configuration.

·       Collaborate with the Integration Architect, ICD Lead, Data Lead, and system integrators to validate design decisions and ensure consistent implementation.

·       Participate in design workshops, translate requirements into technical integration specifications, and provide development estimates.

·       Support systems integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing; resolve integration defects.

·       Support CI/CD deployment processes using Jenkins, Git, and related DevOps tooling.

·       Produce technical documentation, including integration design, mapping specs, and operational runbooks.

·       Provide hypercare support post‑go‑live to ensure stability, performance, and resolution of integration-related issues.

Qualifications

·       5 years of hands‑on software development experience integrating enterprise systems.

·       3 - 5 years of hands‑on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including design, development, deployment, and API lifecycle management.

·       Experience designing REST and SOAP APIs using RAML or OpenAPI specifications.

·       Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have Skills

·       3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing security protocols (OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, encryption policies).

·       MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4).

·       Proven experience working within Agile delivery frameworks and collaborating across multiple technical teams.

·       Experience implementing asynchronoevent‑driven integrations (JMS, Kafka, or similar).
