Contract Hubspot Developers are professionals hired on a temporary or project basis to design, develop, and customize solutions within the Hubspot platform. They typically work on tasks such as building custom modules, integrating third-party tools, setting up automation workflows, and optimizing marketing, sales, or service processes. These developers possess expertise in Hubspot's APIs, CMS, and automation tools, allowing businesses to scale or enhance their Hubspot environment without committing to a full-time hire.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a contract Hubspot developer?

To thrive as a Contract Hubspot Developer, you need strong proficiency in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), experience with HubSpot CMS, and a portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery. Familiarity with HubSpot APIs, CRM integrations, and certifications like HubSpot CMS Developer Certification are highly valued. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients and team members help set candidates apart. These skills ensure seamless implementation of marketing solutions, robust platform integrations, and high client satisfaction in a freelance or contract capacity.

Description:

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is the leading provider of industrial refrigeration and process cooling solutions, delivering custom-engineered systems utilizing natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂. Through a fully integrated approach encompassing engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, nationwide service, and advanced aftermarket solutions, Innovative supports customers across food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure markets throughout North America and around the world.

This role identifies customer needs and develops service solutions that support the reliability, performance, and ongoing maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems—while ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties:
  • Identify customer needs and recommend service solutions that improve system reliability, performance, efficiency, and lifecycle value.
  • Sell and manage service and preventive maintenance agreements, including renewals, expansions, and upgrades.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate service and product implementation
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
  • Facilitate post-sale customer service and ensure follow-through on deliverables

  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods
  • Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
Preferences:
  • Previous experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

In addition to a competitive base salary, we provide a comprehensive and employee-focused benefits package designed to support your financial security, health, and work–life balance:

  • Generous retirement plan with a dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 15%
  • 401(k) student loan repayment match up to 15%

  • Dental and vision insurance options
  • Optional supplemental insurance coverage
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage
  • Weekly pay
  • Competitive paid vacation and holiday time
  • Paid sick leave, bereavement leave, and jury duty leave
